Sarah is still working on the post that describes our afternoon in detail, but I thought I would post about our dinner. We went to the Boathouse, where there were so many delicious looking things on the menu that we thought it might be fun to do the 7 course tasting menu. We were wrong. Not that it wasn't delicious, but it was just too much food. We expected that at least the main course portion sizes would be smaller, but it was really seven full courses. We ended up eating only about half of our sixth course and taking dessert back to the hotel, where it remained mostly untouched. Perhaps Sarah will blog about dinner in more detail, but here are some pictures (unfortunately we started eating before taking pictures of the duck and filet, but they were gorgeous before we dug in).
